Products and Production Capacities:

Saudi Ceramic Company is continually developing its capabilities to meet the ever-increasing demand for higher quality modern designs of ceramic products. The factories, in the past have gone through several stages of development and expansion including the induction of several sophisticated technologies and machineries such as Rollfeed etc.

The tile plant, which embarked on an ambitious expansion project in 2005 to increase the total production capacity to 32 million sq.m will be fully operational by 2008.

The first phase of this project with a production capacity of 7 million sq.m became operational in 2006 with the production of porcelain tiles, which helped the company to become the first Saudi Arabian tile manufacturer to produce high quality porcelain tiles.

 SCC’s Annual Production Capacities Now Stand At;

Porcelain Tiles - 7 Million square meters of high quality tiles. The sizes at the moment include 30x30 cm, 40 x 40 cm and 50x50 cm. The company has plans to produce sizes up to 1 m. e-catalogue

Ceramic Tiles – 16 million square meters of high quality wall and floor tiles in a wide range of colours, designs and sizes. Wall tiles are available in 10x10, 15x15 (0.7 cm thickness), 20x20, 20x30, 25x25 25x33 cm- with a thickness that range from 0.6-0.8 cm, and floor tiles in 12x24.5, 15x15 (0.9 cm thickness), 20x20, 31.8x31.8, 40x40, 42.5x42.5 and 53x53 cm with a thickness that range from 0.8-1.2 cm.

SCC also produces swimming pool tiles in 12x24.5 cm and extruded tiles. These tiles are produced in various finishes such as glossy, rustic, matt, satin, terracotta, travertine, marble, natural stone, etc., and have attractive textures as well. e-catalogue

Decorated Tiles and Accessories – SCC has a state of the art decoration plant for the production of decorative items. This plant has a capacity of 3,600,000 pieces of accessories such as skirting, borders, corners, listelli, decoration tiles, cappings, pencils, external and internal angle beads, cove tiles, etc in various sizes and finishes.

Squaring and Chamfering Unit:

This unit perfectly squares/chamfers four sides of the tiles. This chamfering reduces the space between tiles while laying and resembles the joint-free feature of marble and granite.

Sanitary Ware – 1.8 million pieces are produced in a variety of designs, colours and in single pieces and full sets.

 Electric Water Heaters – SCC produces 800,000 units of electric water heaters. Electric water heaters are available in vertical and horizontal shapes, the sizes comprise of 100 liters (26.4 gallons), 80 liters (21.14 gallons), 50 liters (13.21 gallons) normal and 50 liters (13.21 gallons) slim and 30 liters (7.9 gallons). In addition to this SCC has also introduced central water heaters in different sizes which vary from 150 – 300 liters. e-catalogue

Ceramic Road Markers

Ceramic road markers have become very popular in recent years as markers for traffic lanes and as directional indicators. They have a lot of advantages over paint due to their easiness of installation, clarity during day and night, durability and their suitability for weather condition.

Also their smooth surfaces and soft edges make them harmless for vehicle tires.

The SCC has production capacity of up to 1.2 million pieces / year and it produces them in white and yellow colors. e-catalogue
